Logs and Ledges on 6OCT2024

Results from the last ever Logs and Ledges.  CVOTC has had many years of incredibly good times thanks to the landowner Phil Simpson and Trialsmasters Mark Barnette and Gary Heyer.

It was a perfect day in the woods.  The day began with “pea soup” fog that made the highway drive seem as intimidating as taking the wrong line in a section. The was a relatively small group of riders that knew they did not want to miss their chance to enjoy the venue one more time.  Despite the wet weather lately there was surprisingly good traction which was greatly appreciated while climbing and descending the famous Ledges.  Logs stayed wet and unweighting ability made the difference between clean and…not clean.
